Principal Joyce Iwashita and other Kalanianaole Elementary School faculty make an arch for students to run through during a Welcome Back/Kick-Off Assembly to congratulate the keiki for making Adequate Yearly Progress for the last three years in a row Tuesday morning in the school’s cafeteria. The event also included a presentation from Read Aloud America, special shirts marking the students’ progress and a rainbow balloon arch.
