Diamond Head park to close for road repaving
JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (AP) — Diamond Head State Monument is being closed to the public for two days this month so the state can repave an entry road.
The Department of Land and Natural Resources said Tuesday the park will be closed on Feb. 11 and 12.
Only state civil defense, National Guard and others who work inside the crater will be allowed to enter on those days.
The crater will reopen to the public on Feb. 13.
