Honolulu condos offered at record-high price
HONOLULU (AP) — Honolulu condominiums at Ala Moana Center are being priced at a record-high $9 million.
The Honolulu Star-Advertiser (http://is.gd/QqTlMz) says the project developer unveiled his plans this week for the 206-unit tower to be called ONE Ala Moana, which the Hughes Corp. describes as an “ultra luxury” tower.
The $9 million price tag is a record for a new high-rise condo in Hawaii.
Plans call for having one- to three-bedroom units with 760 square feet to 4,100 square feet of living space. Prices range from $500,000 to a little more than $9 million.
The developer says sales are slated to begin by the end of the year, and if they go well construction could start by late spring and finish in 2014.
