WAIPAHU, Oahu (AP) — Relatives of Loida Gabon Wideman, a mother of three children missing since Mother’s Day, spent their Saturday posting fliers as they continue to hope for her safe return.
The 39-year-old Wideman hasn’t been seen or heard from since she left her home for work about 9:30 p.m. May 6.
Officials say Wideman, who worked as certified nurse’s assistant at the Ka Punawai nursing home, never showed up at the facility.
She was reported missing by her mother, who lives with her, around 6:30 a.m. Monday. Wideman is the mother of three boys, ages 5, 7, and 11.
Her brother, Junior Gabon, said family members posted fliers in Kapolei businesses Saturday asking for help in finding his missing sister.
