Paul Kern Hilburn, 81, of Honaunau died April 23. Born in Kobe, Japan, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a teacher, principal and school superintendent, and was a member of the Big Island Gun Club and the Civil Air Patrol and the Experimental Aircraft Association.
