Marshall Sadao Okuno, 60, of Hilo died Aug. 5 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was a wastewater operations supervisor with the County of Hawaii Department of Environmental Management, and a member of Piihonua Community Association and Big Island Golf Club. Clarence Joji Ono, 78, of Hilo died July 30 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Honolulu, he was an aeronautical engineer for Rocketdyne and the proprietor of Kona Orchids.
