Velma Saeko Langsi, 70, of Kapolei, Oahu, died June 23 in Kapolei. She was born in Hilo. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Saturday at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Oahu. Services from 6-7 p.m. Scattering of ashes at a later date.Survived by husband, Randall J. Langsi Sr.; sons, Randall (Lynnette) J. Langsi Jr. and Mitchell Langsi, both of Honolulu; daughters, Tammy Langsi and Lynnette (William) Langsi-Terry, both of Honolulu; brother, Isaac (Ruth) Takayama of Hilo; sisters, Promise (Wendell) Grace and Louise Kozuk, both of Hilo; grandchildren, Brinton Kaahanui, Lauren Langsi, Brooke Langsi, Branden Langsi, Zechariah Langsi-Terry, Aaron Langsi-Terry, Chasen Chong and Raylene Langsi, all of Honolulu.
Patricia Beall Kelii, 55, of Hilo and San Carlos, Calif., died July 27 in San Carlos. Born in San Carlos, Calif., she worked at Ken’s Pancake House, Don’s Grill, and as an entrepreneur. Services held at St. Charles Church in San Carlos. Donations may be made in Patti’s memory to St. Charles Church Music Ministry, 880 Tamarack Ave., San Carlos, CA. 94070. Survived by mother, Rose Beall of California; brothers, William and Matt (Judy) of California; sister, Kathy; step-sons, Shawn Kelii and Kris (Garnette) Kelii of Hilo; brothers-in-law, Rodney (Jettijean) Kelii of Hilo, Alan (Candace) Kelii of Hilo and Bradley (Debra) Kelii of Ewa Beach, Oahu; sister-in-law, Linda (Vernon Wong) Kelii of Hilo; six grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews in Hawaii and California.
Steven Thomas Coss, 25, of Hilo died July 29 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Los Gatos, Calif., he was a graduate of the University of Hawaii at Hilo’s computer science program. Services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Christ Lutheran Church in Hilo. Survived by fiance, Justine Thompson of Hilo; brother, Scott Gardiner of San Diego; sisters, Serena Coss of Oregon and Kayla Thee of Los Gatos, Calif.; and grandmother, Pamela McLeod.
