Richard S.W. Gan, 86, of Hilo died Jan. 26 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a retired sheet metal worker for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard on Oahu, and a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force.
