Takeko Aniya Sakuda, 91, of Honokaa died Jan. 31 at home. Born in Naha, Okinawa, Japan, she was a housewife and member of Honokaa Hongwanji Mission, Buddhist Women’s Association, Honokaa Senior Citizens Club and Hui Uruma Club. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 at Honokaa Hongwanji Mission. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by son, Clyde Sakuda of Honokaa; daughter-in-law, Josie (Henry Agdinaoay) Sakuda of Honokaa; sisters-in-law, Shizue Oshiro of Kalopa and Shirley Nishimoto of Hilo; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Kikue “Mary” Sueda, 82, of Ninole died Jan. 19 at Avalon Care Home on Oahu. Born in Hilo, she was a retired sales clerk for the Men’s Shop and member of Honohina Hongwanji Mission. Visitation 3:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 24 at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 4:30 p.m. Graveside urn committal service 9 a.m. Monday, Feb. 25 at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Casual attire. Survived by son, Russell N. (Lori) Sueda of Hilo; daughters, Gayle K. Sueda and Joyce N. Sueda of Honolulu; brother, Takeshi Sakata of Hilo; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
