Edward Ireland, 44, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Captain Cook, died Jan. 5. Born in El Paso, Texas, he was a former plumbers’ assistant for the state of Hawaii and coffee farm caretaker. Memorial Mass 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 26 at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in St. Louis. Survived by mother, Martha Ireland; sisters, Melisswa Ireland and Jamie Rimer; brother, Eric Aeschbach. Frances Loando La Marco, 83, of Holualoa died Dec. 31 at home. Born in Kohala, she was a retired cook for the former Kona Surf resort. Visitation 8-9 a.m. today at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church (Painted Church), Honaunau. Mass at 9 a.m. Burial to follow at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. William Harris Larsen, 62, Paauilo died Dec. 22 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Myers Flat, Calif., he was a general contractor and owner of Malibu Woodwrights. Private services.
