Yoshiko Nakashima, 99, of Hilo died Jan. 10 at Hale Anuenue Restorative Care Center. Born in Hawi, he was a retired doctor of dental surgery (DDS), member of Hilo Hooganji Mission, life member of the American and Hawaii Dental Associations, and U.S. Army World War II and Korean War veteran. Manuel Bernabe Gebin Sr. was a field worker for Island Princess Co. That information was omitted in an obituary published Sunday.
Services for Frances Loando La Marco are 8-9 a.m. visitation, 9 a.m. Mass on Saturday, Jan. 19th at St Benedict’s Catholic Church (Painted Church) in Honaunau. An obituary published Saturday had an incorrect date.
