Petra Gorospe Fernandez, 77, of Ainaloa, Pahoa, died Monday, July 8, at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Darao San Juan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, she was employed at the former Mauna Loa MacNut Corporation in Keaau and also at Puna Certified Nursery. She also was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo. Friends may call Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel; Visitation from 5-9 p.m.; Wake service at 7 p.m. On Saturday, friends may call at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Hilo; Visitation from 11 a.m.-noon; Celebration of Mass at noon. Casual attire; Burial at Alae Cemetery. Survived by husband, Celestino Fernandez of Pahoa; Daughter, Janeth G. Fernandez of Pahoa; Sons, Edison (Lovely) Fernandez and Errol (Josie) Fernandez of HPP, Keaau, Marlon (Gemma) Fernandez of Kurtistown; Brother, Juan (Lourdes) Gorospe of HPP, Keaau; Sister, Marylou G. Harry Tadashi Ideda, 61, of Honolulu died July 6. Born in Hilo, he was a delivery driver. Visitation on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Hosoi Garden Mortuary, followed by service at 11 a.m. Casual attire, no flowers. Survived by Lynn Naomi (Fujitani) Ikeda, Duane Ikeda, Cindy Kawamura, Roy Ikeda, Earl Ikeda, Cleo Nham, and Herbert Tadao Ikeda.
Oliverine Mapuana “Sista” Moore, 57, of Hilo died at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Facility on Wednesday, July 10. Born in Hilo, she was a food service worker with Kamehameha Schools. She was also a member of the Ainaola Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Friends may call at the Hilo Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Friday from 10-11:30 a.m., where a funeral service will be held at noon, followed by burial at the Alae Cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by husband, George Moore of Hilo; Son, Kragan Moore of Hilo; Daughter, Krystal Moore of Hilo; Brothers, Graylaine Hanoa of Puna, and Robert Hanoa of Kahului, Maui; Hanai brother, Oliver Shimaoka of Hilo; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Erica Glenna Perreira, 61, of Hilo died Wednesday, July 3, at Hilo Medical Center. Visitation from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo; Memorial Service at 4:30 p.m. Gathering of friends and family to follow at 112 Kaumana Drive, Hilo. Casual attire. Survived by brothers, Jeff (Nell) Perreira of Honolulu, and Doug (Susan) Perreira of Reno, Nev.; nephews, Richard Perreira of Honolulu, and Kyle Perreira of California; niece, Laurie Perreira of Las Vegas, Nev.
