Wallace Edwin Botelho, 81, of Halaula, died March 1 at Kohala Hospital. Born in Kapaau, he was a former carpenter for Kohala Sugar Plantation, a ranch supervisor for Stillman Ranch in Kaauhuhu Homestead and was a retired DAGS maintenance man for the state of Hawaii. He was a lifelong elder and member of the Kohala Seventh Day Adventist Church. Visitation at 8 a.m. Sunday at the Kohala Seventh Day Adventist Church in Hawi, followed by 10:30 a.m. memorial service; inurnment to follow in the church’s cemetery. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Sandra Botelho of Halaula; sons, John (Merlyn) Botelho of Hawi, Paul (Robin) Botelho of North Carolina, Joseph (Joni) Botelho of Arizona, James Botelho of Connecticut; brother, Benjamin Botelho of Halaula; sister, Sharon Botelho of Halaula; brother-in-law, Bob Morikawa of Honolulu; sister-in-law, Bonnie Botelho of Halaula; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. John Rosario, 62, of Mountain View died Oct. 29 at Sunrise Hospital Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Born in Hilo, he was a cement driver for Yamada & Sons Enterprise, a truck driver for Big Island excavating of Keaau, a truck driver for Rosario’s Rubbish Removal of Keaau, a member of ILWU Local 142 of Hawaii, and had many other jobs driving trucks on Oahu. No funeral service to be held. Memorial service/celebration on Saturday, March 23, at Eagle’s Clubhouse in Keaau, from 4-10 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Corliss Rosario of Mountain View; stepdaughters, Jacqueline “Jackie” Anduha-Reveira of Hilo, Cassandra “Cassie” Reveira-Garcia of Miami, Fla.; stepsons, Johnathan “John” Anduha-Reveira of Mountain View, Justin (Estrellita) Garcia of Pahoa, J’Jay Carvalho of Honolulu; hanai daughters, Ursula (Glenn) Milare-Sambrana of Keaau, Tammy “Kanoe” Muller of Kurtistown; father, Vicente “Sonny” (Susan) Rosario of Hilo; brother, Arthur “Boy” (Rose) Rosario of Honolulu; sisters, Clara (Joseph) Medina of Keaau; Abbie (Abel) Ferreira of Las Vegas, Nev., Jacqueline “Jackie” (Michael) Enocencio of Hilo; mother-in-law, Cecilia Reveira of Mountain View; brothers-in-law, Alex (Teresa) Reveira of Volcano, Nathan Reveira and Timothy “Tim” Reveira, both of Mountain View; sisters-in-law, Vanessa (Shawn) Figeroa of Honolulu, and Phyllis Fernandez of California; 11 stepgrandchildren; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces; cousins; and hanai grandchildren.
