Fujie Hirayama, 99, of Hilo, formerly of Papaikou, died Oct. 28 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Ninole, she worked for the former KK Tei Restaurant and was a member of Papaikou Hongwanji Mission and Buddhist Women’s Association. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sons, Raymond (Dinah) Hirayama and Wayne Hirayama of Honolulu, Paul (Mei-Jayne) Hirayama of Honomu; daughters, Thelma Tatsutani of Hilo, Elsie (Roy) Oka of Pepeekeo and Myrtle Hirayama of Honolulu; brother, Takeyoshi (Hatsuno) Fujimoto of Ninole; sisters, Violet Oketani of Honokaa, Chizuko Honma of Paauilo, Doris (Hisa) Wakahiro and Janet Junko (Paul) Togawa of California; sisters-in-law, Matsue Fujimoto of Hilo and Doris Fujimoto of Honolulu; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Donald K. Martin, 81, of Hilo died Nov. 4 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hilo, he was an attorney. Inurnment service 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 15 at Homelani Memorial Park. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by sisters-in-law, Ermine Lehua Martin of Honolulu and Etsuko Martin of Hilo; brother-in-law Dyle G.
