Midori Cabugon, 90, of Captain Cook died Sept. 15 at the Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Olaa, she was a retired coffee farmer. Private services. Survived by daughter, Harriet Perkins of Kainaliu; brother, Toyoshi Otsuka of Honolulu; sister, Kazuko Yukawa, of Honolulu; five grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; numerous niece, nephews and cousins. Tricia Greenwell, 43, of Honokaa died Oct. 5. She was born in Albuquerque, N.M. Memorial services at noon Saturday at the family home in Honokaa. Call 775-7753 for additional information. Survived by husband, Alan Greenwell of Honokaa; daughters Kelly-Ann Greenwell, Tialana Greenwell, and Alicia Greenwell, all of Honokaa; father, James Shutiva Sr. of Acoma, N.M.; brothers, Kenny Shutiva, Lloyd Shutiva, Randy Shutiva and Jimmy Shutiva, all of Acoma; sister, Darla Mitchell of Acoma. Kazuno Sugihara, 96, of Hilo, formerly of Pahoa, died Sept. 30 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Pahoa, she was a retired homemaker, had provided child and adult care to numerous Pahoa families and was a member of Puna Hongwanji Mission, Buddhist Women’s Association, Pahoa Higashi Machi Kumiai, Pahoa Nikkeijin Kai, and Hiroshima Kenjin Kai. Private services. No koden; no flowers. Survived by son, Robert Toshikazu Sugihara of Hilo; sister-in-law, Fujie Wada of Ewa Beach, Oahu; one niece, three nephews. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.
