Sadako “Mary” Muramoto, 87, of Papaikou died Oct. 5 in Hilo. Born in Papaikou, she was a retired surgical nurse for Hilo Hospital. She was also a member of Papaikou Hongwanji Mission, Honomu Henjoji Mission (Honomu Odaishisan), Tenrikyo Big Island Church, Hawaii Government Employees Association Retirees and Saint Francis Nursing Association. Friends may call from 4-5 p.m. Sunday at Dodo Mortuary chapel in Hilo; memorial service at 5 p.m. Casual attire. Survived by brother, Glenn M. Muramoto of Las Vegas; sister, Roxana M.
