Mark Jeffrey Kling, 55, of Paauilo died Sept. 3 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Hutchison, Kan., he was a USDA agricultural inspector and a Navy veteran. Celebration of Life 5 p.m. until sunset Sept. at Kapaa Beach Park in North Kohala. Lei and loose flowers welcome. Survived by wife, Sutha Kling of Paauilo; mother, Evelyn Kling of Hutchison; brother, Mike (Moon) Kling of San Francisco; sisters, Rose Ann (Jim) Rostine of Prescott, Ariz., Jane Angell of Hutchison, Stephanie (Craig) Kirmer of Salt Lake City; numerous nieces and nephews. Clifford Roy Paulos, 72, of Honokaa and Laupahoehoe died Aug. 28 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Laupahoehoe, he was a journeyman mechanic for Hilo Toyota, a diesel mechanic for the former Hamakua Plantation and member of Hamakua Calvary Chapel and Church on the Road. He was also an Army National Guard veteran. Celebration of Life at 2-6 p.m. Sunday at the Honokaa Sports Complex, at 45-540 Koniaka St., Honokaa. No flowers. For information call 238-0500. Survived by son, Destry Paulos of Honokaa; daughter, Leenel Paulos of Volcano; brothers, William (Primrose) Paulos of Montana, Elmer Paulos of Honolulu, Rodney (Marie) Paulos of Waimea, Leabert Paulos of Hilo; three grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, numerous nieces and nephews.
