Laurel “Russ” Russell Tisdel Jr., 70, of Kailua-Kona died Sept. 3 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Seattle, he was a retired chief engineer for Crawley Marine and member of Inland Boaters Union. Private services. Survived by daughter, Jenny (Shawn) Ransome of Convington, Wash.; sister, Vicki Tisdel of Sedro Woolley, Wash.; one grandson and one granddaughter; nieces, nephews and cousins.
