Nick Fisher scored 25 points and Pahoa used a big fourth quarter to push past Waiakea for a 46-42 victory Thursday at the Warriors' gym on the final day of the Big Island Interscholastic Federation boys basketball regular season.
The Daggers (9-3) overcame a four-point deficit after three quarters to beat Waiakea for the second time this season.
Pahoa earned the top seed in the East and a bye into the BIIF Division II semifinals, where it'll play either East No. 3 Ka'u or West No. 2 Kohala. Those two teams meet in a first-round game at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Rylan Kawazoe scored nine points for Waiakea (5-7). The Warriors, the East No. 3 seed, will travel to West No. 2 Kealakehe at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the first round of the Division I tournament.
Waiakea won the junior varsity game 37-22.

Kona tops Kohala
Junior guard Kenan Gaspar scored 13 points, and sophomore forward Jonah Bredeson added nine as host Konawaena defeated Kohala 48-45.
The Wildcats (8-2) have earned a first-round bye in the BIIF Division I tournament, which begins Wednesday and runs through Feb. 11.
Konawaena, the West No. 1 seed, will play either Keaau (1-11) or Hilo (8-4) at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at Hilo's Afook-Chinen Civic Auditorium. The winner of the BIIF semifinal will earn an automatic berth in the Hawaii High School Athletic Association Division I tournament.
Senior forward Chris Roxburgh led the Cowboys (6-4) with 13 points, while juniors Kalai Kapeliela and Makani Kualii added 12 and 10, respectively.
In Thursday's JV contest, Konawaena defeated Kohala 56-34.

Kealakehe 80, Honokaa 78: Deion Utrera hit six 3-pointers and scored 42 points at Honokaa Armory, and Nalu Marks made four 3-pointers and had 19 points for the Waveriders (6-4).
Alika Alip led Honokaa (3-7) with 24 points and Keanu Freitas added 22. Cjay Carvalho and Brooks McVey each had 10.
The Dragons, the No. 3 seed in the West, visit East No. 2 St. Joseph at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the first round of the BIIF Division II tournament.

Kamehameha 66, Keaau 39: Lanaki Apele scored 19 points, Shaun Kagawa added 16 and Jacob Kackley had 10 for the visiting Warriors (11-1).
Kamehameha, the top seed in the East, gets a bye into the BIIF Division I semifinals. The Warriors will draw Kealakehe or Waiakea.
Konnor Kanetani scored six points for the Cougars (1-11). As the East No. 4 seed, Keaau will face East No. 2 Hilo on Wednesday in the first round. The winners gets West No. 1 Kona in the semifinals.
