No Vulcan sports camps
University of Hawaii at Hilo sports camps are on hold for Summer 2013 due to facilities upgrades and personnel changes.
According to UHH athletic director Dexter Irvin, the capital improvement projects scheduled for the summer include improvements to the UHH Gym, tennis courts and athletic training area. That means no Vulcan Camps will be held this summer.
Vulcans Athletics is also in to process of filling their men’s basketball coach position and the baseball program is going through the transition of retiring Baseball Coach Joey Estrella to interim Head Coach Kallen Miyataki.
For more information or updates, call the UHH athletic office at 808-974-7520.
