Down seven runs in the top of the seventh, Konawaena’s baseball team erupted for 13 runs Thursday at Honokaa’s Parks and Recreation complex, carrying the Wildcats to a 14-8 win over Honokaa in a Big Island Interscholastic Federation game.
Konawaena improved to 1-0 in the BIIF and 2-0 overall. Honokaa dropped to 0-2, 0-4.
