808 Hui defeated Ka’u 69-51 to claim the 2012 Big Island Spring High School League title last Saturday at the Kamehameha Gym in Keaau.
Jalen Carvalho and Kaumu Patnaude each scored 15 points to lead the champions while Nick Fisher scored eight to lead Ka’u.
Also participating in the league were Pai’ea Blue and White, Big Island Select, 808 Hui 2, Ka’u, Kohala and Waiakea.
