Two championship belts awarded

Chad Pavao won a hard-fought five-round decision over Riquo Abadilla for the Toughman Hawaii 130-pound junior lightweight title on Saturday at Hilo Civic.

The taller Pavao kept the 5-foot-6 Abadilla at a distance for most of the fight and was able to pull out the victory, earning the Toughman Hawaii title belt for his efforts.

In an earlier fight, Kenzin Santos defeated Matt Majamay by decision for junior division welterweight title.
