The county Department of Parks and Recreation will host a public meeting later this month to discuss the development of new recreational fields and other facilities at Pahoa Park.
Area residents are invited to express their needs, desires, concerns and mana’o to administrators from P&R, the Mayor’s Office and Councilman Fred Blas.
The meeting will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 17, at Pahoa Community Center.
Coordinators of the project are preparing to implement a design for the improvements.
To allow everyone a chance to speak, public testimony will be taken in time allotments of not more than three minutes per individual.
