Richard “Rick” Lee Wagner, 57, of Keaau, formerly of Honolulu, died Dec. 28 at home. Born in Indiana, he was a construction foreman. Celebration of life at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Hilo Church of the Nazarene. Survived by wife, Shari Wagner of Keaau; son, Kenson Kawika Wagner of Keaau; sister Rebecca “Becky” Nakasone of Keaau; numerous nieces and nephews. Aloha attire. Rose Luce Ferreira, 91, of Kalopa Homesteads died Dec. 31 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Kalopa Homesteads, she was a homemaker and a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Elsie Medeiros Lewi, 83, of Kailua-Kona died Jan. 2 at the Life Care Center of Kona. Born in Honokaa, she was a retired pantry worker at the Kona Surf Resort and a member of Mokuaikaua Church. Walter “Googoo” Herbert Santos Jr., 58, of Pepeekeo died Dec. 27 at home. Born in Honolulu, he was a diesel mechanic for Pioneer Mill Co. on Maui. Private services.
