Simeon “Sims” Ku’ulei Crawford, 70, of Waikoloa and Wahiawa, Oahu, died Dec. 26 at his Waikoloa home. Born in Honolulu, he was a truck driver for RHS Lee Trucking Co. in Honolulu and a member of Operating Engineers Local 3. Celebration of Life pending. Survived by daughters, Rowena (Augie) Morlock of Wahiawa, Miranda (George) Coronel of Kailua-Kona, Desiree Crawford-Bonner of Waianae, Oahu; sons, Samuel (Li-Ann) Crawford of Waianae, Donnavan (Carla) Crawford of Waikoloa; brother, Abe (Mary) Crawford of Waimanalo, Oahu; sisters, Mildred (Gene) Forsythe of Hawaii Kai, Oahu, Ellen (Taki) Yamaguchi of Aiea, Oahu, Winifred (Arthur) Gonsalves of Kahala, Oahu; 15 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. The Rev. Harold Herbert Puuloa Teves, 80, of Ocean View died Dec. 4 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu. Born in Honolulu, he was founder and kahu of Kahuku Congregational Church in Ocean View, former kahu at Kahikolu Congregational Church, former Hawaii Police Department chaplain, a U.S. Army Green Beret and veteran of the Korean and Vietnam wars and member of Jason T. Woodworth Big Island Chapter 43 Special Forces Association. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Puka’ana Congregational Church, 85-4221 Hawaii Belt Road, Kealia. Services at 10 a.m. Burial 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30 at West Hawaii Veterans Cemetery. Survived by sons, David K. Teves of Nanawale, Ehukai J. Teves of Hawaiian Acres, Puuloa M. (Martha) Teves of Puhi, Kauai and Kamalei M. (Leeann) Teves of Kapolei, Oahu; sister, Blanche Quintal; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one niece, numerous nephews and cousins. Ursula Regina Warkus, 88, of Waikoloa died Dec. 24 at home. Born in Elbing, Germany, she was a retired accountant for California State University in Sacramento. Private services.
