The community is invited to a Martin Luther King Day celebration from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday at the Mooheau Park Bandstand in downtown Hilo.
The free event will feature music, speakers and a potluck lunch. A short peace march will be held from 11 a.m. to noon.
