Nolan Kahoonewanewaonalani Hao, 49, of Orchidland died Jan. 11 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Kealakekua, he was a musician in the original Ho’aikane band, a heavy equipment operator for Big Island Construction, laborer for Ishii Construction, truck driver for Grace Pacific, landscaper for Four Seasons Resort and member of Kai ‘Opua Canoe Club and Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Visitation 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at Puuanahulu Community Center, 71-1449 Mamalahoa Hwy. in Puuanahulu. Memorial service at 11 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome.
