Thomas “Tom” Hansen Brennan, 80, of Holualoa died Nov. 21, 2011, at his residence. Born in Green Bay, Wisc., he was a general contractor and Holualoa community volunteer. Christiane “Chris Girl” Alice Carson, 55, of Kailua-Kona and formerly of Puna, died Jan. 20 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Paris, France, she was a longtime employee of the Keauhou Outrigger Hotel and former longtime employee of Uncle Billy’s Hilo Bay Hotel.
