The Science Fair and its exhibits will be open at ‘Imiloa Astronomy Center Sunday, Feb. 12, and the following Tuesday through Friday. Though usually closed to the public on Monday, ‘Imiloa has a special schedule on Feb. 13 for school children, with field trips during the day. Visit www.imiloahawaii.org.

‘Imiloa Astronomy Center of Hawaii will host the 26th Annual Hawaii District Science and Engineering Fair, with judging on Saturday, Feb. 11, of more than 100 varied projects completed by local students in grades 6-12. Some have worked on their projects for a year or more.

Awards will be announced at 6:30 p.m. that day in the University of Hawaii at Hilo Campus Center cafeteria.
