Services for Tamotsu “Tamo” Tsunezumi, 91, of Hilo will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Saturday at Dodo Mortuary’s Hilo chapel; service at 10:30 a.m. Additional information appeared in Sunday’s paper.

Harue Kaneshiro, 90, of Pepeekeo died Jan. 7 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Amauulu Camp No. 4, she was retired from the former Mauna Kea Sugar Co., and was a member of Hakalau Jodo Mission Kyodan and Fujinkai, RSVP, Hui Okinawa and Hakalau Senior Citizens. Private services were held. No koden (monetary gifts). No flowers. Survived by her sons, Robert (Eleanor) Kaneshiro of Honolulu, Haruo (Noreen) Kaneshiro of Pepeekeo and Roy (Tracey) Kaneshiro of Papaikou; daughters, Pauline (Pedro) Agustin of Honolulu and Mae Kaneshiro of Pepeekeo; brothers, Katsuji (Dot) Sakuma of Waipahu, Oahu, Douglas (Frances) Sakuma of Washington, Seiji Sakuma of Hilo and Benjamin (Naomi) Sakuma of Pearl City, Oahu; sisters, Hanayo Suma of Pearl City, Oahu, and Julie (Stephen) Kashiwagi of Waipahu, Oahu; brother-in-law, Hank (Hideko) Kaneshiro of Hilo; sisters-in-law, Tsuruko Nakashima of Hilo and Nancy Kaneshiro of Honolulu; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
