Burial for Jay Juan Serain will be at Mauna Kea Memorial Park following his 10 a.m. Saturday mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Papaikou.

Linda Corley Beech, 86, of Honokaa, died Jan. 5 at Hale Ho’ola Hamakua. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired doctor of psychology. Services held. Survived by sons, Barnaby C. “Paki” Beech of Honolulu and Walter Beech of Moorpark, Calif.; sister, Charlotte Mangelsdorf Holmes of Hilo; nieces and nephews. Arrangements by Borthwick Hawaii Funeral Home.


Ellen “ET” Eiko Tateishi, 50, of Hilo, died Jan. 27 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Lihue, Kauai, she was a retired office assistant at Hawaii Community College. Visitation 3-4 p.m. Saturday at Honpa Hongwanji Hilo Betsuin, 398 Kilauea Ave. Memorial service at 4 p.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by husband, Floyd Yoshimoto of Hilo; mother, Aster Tateishi of Kalaheo, Kauai; sisters, Fay Tateishi and Laurie Tateishi of Kalaheo, Diane Kent of Hilo, Toni Uchima of Torrance, Calif.; three nephews, two nieces and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Arrangements by Dodo Mortuary.


Survivors of Earline Gail Pagan include, among others, nine grandchildren. An obituary published Saturday omitted that information.
