The University of Hawaii at Hilo softball team swept Cal State Stanislaus, again, on Friday, winning its fourth straight, running its record to 5-1, and closing a six-game series against an opponent that went 16-18 last season.

Brittany Spencer went 2 for 2 with two RBIs and Aisha Sueda had three RBIs to lead UHH to a 9-1 win over the Warriors from the California Collegiate Athletic Association.

Jessica Pepin pitched five innings for the win. She allowed one unearned run on a hit and three walks, and struck out one.

Brittani Weatherfordwent 1 2/3 innings and allowed eight runs in the loss.

In the second game, a 6-2 victory, Emily Greene batted 2 for 3 with two RBIS and Gerika Pantohan had two RBI to lead the Vuls.

Ashley Nelson went 4 1/3 innings for the win. Pepin pitched 2 2/3 innings for the save.

Natalie Rendon went one inning and allowed five runs in the loss.
