Joseph T. Perreira, 89, of Hilo died Feb. 8 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Hilo, he was the owner of the former Hilo Express, a delivery driver for the Mauna Kea Banana Co. and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 8:30-10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. with burial to follow at Homelani Memorial Park, Section 7. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by Kenneth (Dee) Perreira and Carl (Terri) Perreira, both of Hilo; daughters, Geraldine (Eddie) Carreira and June (Richard) Ha, both of Hilo; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Eduarda “Duarda” Susa Julian, 88, of Pahoa died Jan. 18 in Hilo. Born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, she was a retired co-owner of Julian’s Papaya Farm and was a member of Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Visitation will be held from 5-9 p.m. Friday at the Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Celebration of life at 6:45 p.m. A final viewing will be held from 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Pahoa Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass at 9:30 a.m. with burial to follow at Pahoa Catholic Cemetery. Semi-casual attire; flowers welcome. Survived by husband, Marcos L. Julian of Pahoa; sons, Laureto (Elizabeth) Julian, Juanito (Eredulin) Julian and William (Catherine) Julian, all of Pahoa; sisters, Flaviana Ramos of Pahoa and Antonia Alejandro of the Philippines; 13 grandchildren. 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
