The Big Island Auto Club will be holding its season-opening races Saturday and Sunday at Hilo Drag Strip. Saturday’s races include pro gas, pro bike and junior dragsters. Sunday’s events include bracket racing, bracket bikes, sports compact and junior drags.

Gates open at 8 a.m. both days.
Admission for adults is $7, $1 for kids ages 6-12.
