Becky Kalani Takeya, 69, of Hilo died at Hilo Medical Center on Tuesday, Feb. 21. Born in Opihikao, she was a retired groundskeeper with the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation and previously a warehouse worker with the former Ookala Sugar Co. She was also a member of the Opihikao Congregational Church and the ILWU Retirees Club. Friends may call at the Dodo Mortuary chapel on Tuesday from 3-5 p.m., with 5 p.m. memorial service. Dorothy Agan, 82, of Hilo died Feb. 22 at her home. Kenneth “Ken” James Alberts, 75, of Kailua-Kona died Feb. 19 at his residence. Born in Remer, Minn., he was a retired carpet layer. No services planned.
