Honokaa edged Kapaa 1-0 on Feb. 18 in the finals of the Hawaii High School Athletic Association state Division II boys soccer championships on Oahu. Nino Quijano’s goal in the 73rd minute gave the Dragons, under head coach Maurice Miranda and assistants Geri Moniz and Mark Miranda, their second straight state D-II crown.
