Reidun Bruteig LaFleur, 68, of Volcano died March 1 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Norway, she was a retired registered nurse, member of the New Hope Christian Fellowship in Volcano and the Daughters of God Praise Hula Group. Friends may call 9-12 noon Tuesday at the New Hope Christian Fellowship in Volcano; celebration of her life will begin at 10 a.m. Casual attire. Survived by husband, John LaFleur of Volcano; daughter, Reidun Maria LaFleur of Volcano; sons, John (Amy) LaFleur, Jr. of Hayden, Idaho; Frank (Makiko) LaFleur of California; mother, Petra Bruteig of Norway; sister, Inga Elise Bruteig of Norway; brothers, Magne (Marianne) Bruteig of Norway, John Petter Bruteig of Norway; four grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
