University of Hawaii at Hilo senior forward Hillary Hurley was named to the All-Pacific West Conference first team on Thursday for the second straight season.

She averaged 15.8 points per game and made 56 percent of her shots, ranked fourth and third in the conference, respectively. Her 10.2 rebounds per game was tied for first.

UHH junior guard Kirsten Shimizu received honorable mention. She averaged 9.9 points and 2.4 assists per game.

Hawaii Pacific senior forward Mana Hopkins-Vandenakker, a 2008 Konawaena graduate, also landed on the first team. She was on the first team as a junior and sophomore. As a freshman, she was on the second team.

Hopkins-Vandenakker averaged 17.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, and converted 50 percent of her shots, which ranked second, sixth and sixth in the league, respectively.

On the men’s All-PacWest teams, UHH junior guard Terrell Mack and senior forward Zach Wilde received honorable mention. Mack averaged 16.0 ppg and Wilde 11.6 ppg.
