This year’s Hilo Ambassador Family is the Inez family. Michalla and Richard Inez were looking forward to starting their family when Michalla went into premature labor at 35 weeks. Preston Joel is now 2 1/2 years old and doing wonderfully. Michalla had another son, Logan Kamakanamakalanimai Casto-Inez, at 30 weeks. Logan passed away from SIDS on March 13, 2011. Shortly after Logan died, Michalla found out she was pregnant with her third baby. Elle’yanna was born on Oct. 28 at 34 weeks and now is a beautiful, happy and healthy keiki.
