A special Easter Sabbath Prayer Breakfast sponsored by the Hilo Seventh-day Adventist Church Women’s Ministry-LEIS will be held at 8:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31, in the Mauna Loa School cafeteria.

The prayer breakfast will precede the regular sabbath morning classes and is offered free of charge by the women’s ministry group. All are invited.

The sabbath worship service will feature a sermon by Elder Vicky Perry. Her presentation will ask: “Is the Easter story pertinent to us today, or is it just tradition, a good story?”

See Jesus through the eyes of two of his followers, Mary Magdalene and Peter, as they tell their own stories through dramatic readings. Musical numbers by various individuals and groups will enhance the stories. Main worship services will start at 11 a.m. in the church sanctuary at 162 Kapiolani St.
