Florentino Miguel Acacio, 90, of Kapaau died March 28 at his residence. Born in Vintar, the Philippines, he was a retired laborer for the Kohala Sugar Plantation, a retired grounds maintenance man at the Kona Village Resort and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Friends may call at 9 a.m. April 13 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 55-3374 Akoni Pule Highway in Hawi for an 11 a.m. Mass with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Church cemetery. Tadaaki “Darling” Egusa, 96, of Papaaloa died March 22 at the Life Care Center of Hilo. Audrey Mamie Shaffer, 90, of San Jose, Calif., formerly of Hilo, died Feb. 26. She was born in New Orleans.
