The state rugby championships will be held today and Saturday at Hilo Bayfront. Divisions include Under-19, U-15 and U-10.

The state rugby championships will be held today and Saturday at Hilo Bayfront. Divisions include Under-19, U-15 and U-10.

Hilo Reign is the defending boys U-19 state champion. The other teams in the field are the Keaukaha Sharks, Waimea Boars, Kona Bulls and Oahu’s Kalihi Raiders.

Pool play starts today at 9 a.m. Action starts at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday with the boys U-19 championship to be held about 2:30 p.m.
