The Hilo Abunai finished runner-up in the under-19 girls soccer division at the Kirk Banks Tournament in late March on Oahu. The Abunai were undefeated until falling 3-2 to a Kona team in the championship game. The team consisted of Taylor Matas, Kylie Robertson, Sachi Iwata, Tiana Iwata, Keisha Sato, Nathalie Orevillo, Savannah Toussaint, coach Jason Nakayama, Jayla Nakayama, Teisha Nacis, Rose Nakamura, Rachel Robertson, Lolly Higa, Taylor Pacheco and coach Nate Orevillo.
