Lance Guy Chang, 56, of Kealakekua died April 6 at Kona Community Hospital. Born in Hilo, he was a plumber for Aoki Plumbing and a former banker with Central Pacific Bank and Honolulu Federal Savings and Loan. Arnold LeRoy Howard, 87, of Punalu‘u, Ka‘u, died March 16 at the Ka‘u Hospital. Born in Kaneohe, Oahu, he was an auto mechanic at the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and retired as a fire truck mechanic at the U.S. Marine Corp Air Base in Kaneohe. He was a former deputy warden for the Fish & Game Commission, a game hunter and avid fisherman, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and a U.S. Navy veteran.
