Bronson Pulgados and Nainoa Hart combined on a one-hitter in Kamehameha’s 22-2 win over Pahoa in a Big Island Interscholastic Federation baseball game on Thursday.
Pulgados went two innings, allowed a run on a hit and two walks, and struck out four for the win. Hart pitched three innings, allowed an unearned run and whiffed three.
Kaimana Moike batted 2 for 2 with two RBIs and Pono Correa 2 for 3 with two RBIs to lead the Warriors (8-4). Kevin Davis and Kupono Decker also paired hits, and Chad Teshima Jaston Eleneki, Makoa Rosario, Isaiah Stillman and Pulgados had two RBIs each.
Julian Agnese pitched 1 1-3 innings in the loss. Kayden Cox Pacheco went two innings, and Jaycen Pertabul got two outs for the Daggers (0-12). Agnese had Pahoa’s only hit.
