Louise Hancock Ano‘ipua King Furtado, 75, of Keaau died April 3 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Honolulu, she was retired from the State of Hawaii as a social worker at the former Waimano Home and Hospital on Oahu, an at-home caregiver and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Saturday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Pahoa Ward, in Orchidland. Scattering of her cremated remains will follow at the Hilo Bayfront area. Opal Belle Plumsteel, 97, of Kailua Kona died April 6 at Hale Hoola Hamakua.
