The 86-year-old woman was walking along Haili Street at about 5:39 a.m. when an unknown man pushed her from behind, causing her to fall, and stole the purse.

“She was just blindsided,” said Lt. Gregory Esteban.

The woman received minor injuries but declined treatment.

The man is described as being about five-feet tall, approximately 130 pounds with a medium build and short black hair.

He was wearing a tan shirt with orange rectangular designs, and possibly blue jeans.
