The Pi‘ihonua Community Association invites members, current and former residents of Pi‘ihonua Camp 3, 4 and 5 to the July 13-15 Pi‘ihonua Camp Reunion in Hilo. Reservations are due by May 31.

T-shirts and souvenir booklets can be ordered for this event from the PCA Reunion Committee. Organizers welcome contact information on former Pi‘ihonua residents and donations of any sort for the event. — Friday, July 13: 5 p.m., welcome-home potluck at the Kaikan; BYOB and share your favorite pupu. Kumiai members are asked to bring rice, an entree, salad or dessert. Enjoy sampling Pi‘ihonua-style huli-huli pig cooked by Jack Fujii.

— Saturday, July 14: 11 a.m., luncheon banquet at the University of Hawaii at Hilo Campus Center. The cost will be $28 per adult and $14 per child age 5-9. Aloha attire; share old photos and reminisce.

— Sunday, July 15: 10 a.m., farewell brunch at the Kaikan. The Kaya Family Chicken Hekka will be featured; kumiai members are asked to bring rice, salad, entree or dessert.
