The Ka Makani Players at Hawaii Preparatory Academy will present “Hooray for Hollywood” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, April 26-27, at the school’s Gates Performing Arts Center. Admission will be $10 for adults and $5 for students.
“Hooray for Hollywood” will offer an evening full of entertainment, featuring some of the best movie songs from the 1930s to the present.
Selections are from such shows as An American in Paris, Pinocchio, Brian’s Song, Casablanca, Wizard of Oz, Mary Poppins, The Rose, The Way We Were, Blue Hawaii, The Summer of ’42 and Somewhere in Time. The show also will feature a tribute to the music of Henry Mancini. For more information, call 881-4099.
